Vignettes

As a child, I created stories. Using wooden blocks and plastic figures, I would invent open-ended narratives, grand tales with limitless possibilities as a means of processing my world. Over the years, I have collected pieces that remind me of that activity. Intuitively arranging the diverse objects into individual vignettes, I have given them the stage to act out their own moments and stories. For children the scenes created are quickly abandoned and transformed into the next set. Here, I have documented the vignettes as photographs out of a more adult instinct to record the stories.
